After my last few days of vacation and back to work (one vacation day got interrupted by work!), I am now gathering my shells and getting ready to head back north where it seems that the temps have become compatible with living.
I have been riding just about every other day, in between the occasional showers and one day and a half of torrential downpours. It is nice to be able to spend 5 minutes getting ready and being in the saddle almost immediately. Obviously, I have gotten some color while here but the breezes have been a comfort to offset the occasional direct sunlight.
To be done
On the docket to think about are replacing the locks, figuring out what is up with the truck idle (my brother unsuccessfully fought this for years), and thinking about a few projects that would be useful here.

It has been a perfect 3 weeks here where I have relaxed, entertained, worked, and been a Floridian at Chalet #2. Oh yeah, and I did accomplish one of the main goals of coming here: The truck radio and speakers are installed.
Will I be able to get comfortable in my boring 'hood in NY? Sure...I am pretty adaptable...
Until next time, when the winds pick up and I have to get out of town.
